I was bit shopping for a horse that I’m starting, and bought a KK Ultra after watching this video. This is his first bit and he has a quiet and comfortable mouth with it. I am not any kind of expert, just a backyard horse owner, and it seems very nicely designed and good quality. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thank you for this enlightening video. Per previous comments, I appreciate the cultivation of an open mindset being your best tool to use for your horses. Am trying to fit my Micklem Bridle to my delightful Arabian horse. Is it my imagination but is the headpiece able to be fitted both directions? At 6:21 in the video it shows the headpiece with the more curved side towards the front of the face. At 6:37 the headpiece has the more curved side in the opposite direction. After watching this video I don't want to cause him pain by my lack of education! Thank you once again for this wonderful video, educating riders like myself from the other side of the world!

No information on how your leg length should translate into the size chart? If my leg is 15" then does that mean to get a 15" chap - but that would be too long sitting around the bottom of my boot. Also which of your chaps fit the Telluride boots and the bottom flare is not always enough. I have 12" calf size.

Does that horse have laminitis? I ask because there is a dark spot where the coffin bone seems tipped.

Good Video but, what i want to know is what about the chronic hoof abscesses. What can be done as antibiotics don't help.. The horse I'm talking about has chronic drainage from the upper hoof line.

I volunteer at a donkey sanctuary and quiet few that are in 20s have cushings there coat become matted as a result of the long hair it more noticeable in the summer when all the donkeys tend to lose their winter coat.

I got thrown into the arena fence and broke my collar bone. I hit my head super hard on the fence but all my CAT scans were completely clear, all thanks to my Charles Owen. I will be replacing it with a new one!
